Reference:E.N. Welch Clocks by Tran Duy Ly. There is an error in the reference. The DONITA mantel clock is shown on page 184 and on page 117 it shows another style named the Hanging DONITA.

Comment:German or Austrian from the early 1800's.

Case: Reverse painted glass with guilded frame. 14.5" wide, 12" high, 4.5" deep .
Works: Original signed two train with barrel springs. 30 hour movement with hour strike and single strike on half hour.
